Treatment
Schedule regular visits at short intervals to establish a collaborative relationship with the patient.
Limit diagnostic testing and reassure the patient that serious diseases have already been ruled out.
Screen for other mental illnesses.
CBT and mindfulness-based 
therapies are effective.
Pharmacotherapy: SSRIs or TCAs.
-Amitriptyline has a greater likelihood of success compared to SSRIs to treat.
