drug-induced myopathy / Statin-induced myopathy

Clinic A/P, adults, MUSCULOSKELETAL

-Will order Creatine Kinase- which is associated with elevated creatine kinase.

-ESR / CRP to eval PMR in this pt > 50

DDx

Polymyalgia rheumatica is usually associated with an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate.

Guillain-Barré syndrome is associated with depressed deep tendon reflexes.
