Opioid Induced Hypogonadism

ENDOCRINOLOGY

Chronic opioid use (prescribed by physicians or not, and oral, IV, or intrathecally) causes hypogonadism in both men and women. Typical symptoms include decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, amenorrhea, or fatigue.
